Many people in the Saco-Biddeford area knew Bob Ouellette. He was driven, optimistic and very involved in the community. When Bob started his career in Real Estate, it was in the same office. The company was called The Drown Agency, and in 1986, Bob bought half of the company and became an owner.
"Bob and I always had the philosophy that with hard work, you could make anything happen. It was his dream to own his own Real Estate Agency, and those who knew Bob knew if he put his mind to something, he would make it happen," Lise recalls.

"I became very good at multitasking and wearing different hats," Lise says. "My duties included everything from office manager to closing coordinator to office cleaner to accountant."
Just three years after buying half of the company, Bob and Lise bought the rest of the company and their dream of owning a Real Estate Agency in their hometown came true.
As is true with any industry, they encountered ups and downs in the Real Estate market. But, the company kept their "nose to the grindstone" and survived the market crash of 1990. Bob and Lise had a renewed sense of vigor and enthusiasm, and the company continued to grow.
In 1996, Lise and Bob knew it was time to take their company to the next level. They wanted to continue to offer their clients a locally owned company, but knew there were advantages to joining a National franchise, and the support and exposure that would come along with it. After being courted by all the major franchises, Lise says the decision was easy to join the Prudential family.
"We wanted to offer our clients the best exposure and service, as well as offer the strength of Prudential's resources to our Agents," recalls Lise. "There was no doubt that with Prudential, we could continue our local commitment, and benefit from one of the most-recognized, prestigious names in the industry."
When Bob passed away in 2001, Lise knew she had to continue running the business in her husband's honor, the way they had been for years... with integrity, exceptional service and true dedication to their agents and clients.
Prudential Prime Properties continues to grow today. With over 30 agents serving Southern Maine, they have consistently been the leader in local home listings and sales. They work hard to make the real estate process as smooth as possible and strive to consistently exceed their clients' expectations. In fact, Prudential Prime Properties has been Voted #1 in Sales and Service by local residents for the past six years in a row.
Lise Ouellette sums up her business philosophy this way: "I've always believed in treating people fairly and with professionalism. I enjoy having a family atmosphere at work and I believe strongly in the value of teamwork. Our goal is and has always been to make people happy and help make their homeowner dreams come true. It's simple. We work hard and help people. That's what we believe in."
